An anatomy of the Earth.

The upper crust is made up of lots of large pieces called plates. These plates are the landmasses on which plants and animals inhabit. As society progressed, we humans have developed leadership over most of these landmasses and rules that dictate what can and cannot be done, as well as who has the privilages to perform certain actions. These are the laws of the land and can be very sophisticated.

Further down is the upper mantle. This is mainly solid consisting of  metals and plastics.

Right at the centre of the Earth is the core. The outer core is liquid, and the inner core is mostly solid.
